Dan explains: "Pogo bonobo is a sort of genus-species name - he must be some sort of ape fond of bouncing. Pogo was a possum in a political cartoon I read as a kid. To be honest, the whole song is a ripoff of Bela Bartok's Miraculous Mandarin Suite...
